When the Throgs Neck or the Whitestone backs up, East Tremont Avenue and the roads feeding the approaches fill with drivers looking for a way around, and a van due at your house at four can lose twenty minutes to that without anybody doing anything wrong. Mid-morning bookings are far more predictable and we will offer one if your day has any give in it. Down toward Fort Schuyler and the shore streets it is quieter and we can hold times more tightly. Wind is the consideration nobody expects: setting glass on an exposed waterfront driveway in a gale is not something we will rush. We would rather move you a day than do that badly.
