Fifteen to twenty minutes down to Garrison Avenue, or the van comes to your driveway or your workplace lot for the same price. Fitting runs 60 to 90 minutes with about an hour of cure after it, and common sedans and small SUVs sit between $250 and $450.

A twelve-hour shift and a two-and-a-half-hour glass job do not fit together, which is why so much of our Morris Park windshield work happens in a parking lot rather than in the bay. The tech arrives with the glass matched to the vehicle, works while you are inside, and the car is cured and ready by the time you are. That is the version most people here book, and it costs exactly what driving down would cost.
The one thing that pulls a job back to the shop is calibration. If your car has a camera behind the mirror running lane-keep or automatic braking, that camera has to be recalibrated after the windshield changes, and some vehicles want controlled indoor conditions with proper targets for it. We check your build at booking and tell you which it is. Otherwise the work is the same wherever it happens: exact glass, urethane cut back to a clean bed, bare metal primed, new moldings, and the full safe drive-away time respected rather than trimmed to suit the schedule. The figure you are given on the phone covers the glass, the moldings, the adhesive and the labour, and it does not grow once the tech has the car open.
“We went here today, a cold Sunday afternoon, after the right rear window was broken into. They were well-priced, the staff was friendly, and they worked fast! My new go-to spot for this type of emergency!”
More on this service: Windshield Replacement at New York Auto Glass Inc →
Most Morris Park windshields are replaced because of Pelham Parkway and the Cross Bronx rather than anything that happens locally. The parkway service roads are patched season after season, the main lanes carry fast traffic over uneven asphalt, and anyone commuting west joins the expressway shortly afterwards. Stone from either is what stars the glass. The local contribution is overhead: the residential blocks here carry a heavy tree canopy, and after a summer storm we get a run of calls about limbs on parked cars. A branch does not chip a windshield, it takes it out completely, so that is one of the few replacements around here that was never going to be a repair. Those are the ones we cannot talk you out of.
Same service, same price, other Bronx neighborhoods:
Yes, that is a normal booking for us here. We need the keys, a space we can work beside, and somebody reachable by phone in case the car has to be shifted a few feet. Tell us which lot and roughly where it is parked, since a large lot with no description costs the tech time that comes out of your slot.
If there is a camera housing behind the rear-view mirror and the car has lane-keep assist or automatic emergency braking, it almost certainly does. Give us the year, make, model and trim when you book and we will confirm. Skipping it is not an option we offer, because those systems aim through the windshield and a new pane changes what they see.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
